And that's what I love about it. 00;00;36;15 - 00;00;39;09 You know, teacher gaming was made by teachers 00;00;39;09 - 00;00;42;06 and when they got from Mojang, they got the rights to do it. 00;00;42;06 - 00;00;44;13 They were given free rein to do a whole bunch of stuff. 00;00;44;13 - 00;00;48;06 And then Microsoft bought Minecraft and Mojang out and they said, 00;00;48;06 - 00;00;50;00 Well, teacher, you, we're going to take that part. 00;00;50;00 - 00;00;51;20 You know, we're taking from you. 00;00;51;20 - 00;00;52;25 And that's kind of just to that 00;00;52;25 - 00;00;56;05 because there's a lot of cool features that teacher Edu had, right? 00;00;57;04 - 00;00;59;09 But when they took it out and they redesigned and everything 00;00;59;09 - 00;01;02;21 and they literally made this Minecraft edu version 00;01;02;28 - 00;01;06;12 and it kept a lot of the functionality that teacher Edu had in there. 00;01;06;12 - 00;01;08;19 Like teachers can go in and put stuff in their inventory. 00;01;08;26 - 00;01;09;08 You know, 00;01;09;08 - 00;01;09;29 there are things 00;01;09;29 - 00;01;13;14 that you can't do in the normal game that are still in the Minecraft edu. 00;01;13;14 - 00;01;17;03 And there's the nice part is like teacher gaming always had to 00;01;17;20 - 00;01;21;01 mod whatever Mojang came out with, you know, when they came on release. 00;01;21;01 - 00;01;23;25 Well, we get go fix everything in our game because now they made this 00;01;24;01 - 00;01;27;27 well Minecraft as soon as they come out with something it's live in Minecraft 00;01;27;27 - 00;01;30;13 edu you so you're just right there and things that 00;01;31;03 - 00;01;33;13 don't we don't want in minecraft who do they take out. 00;01;33;19 - 00;01;33;28 Right. 00;01;33;28 - 00;01;36;19 Like there's some things that we don't have guns We don't have the the right. 00;01;36;25 - 00;01;39;29 Those mods that come in, they're like, Nope, that's all stripped out. 00;01;39;29 - 00;01;42;22 It's kind of, but it's designed for education. 00;01;42;26 - 00;01;44;01 And the Nice Party 00;01;44;01 - 00;01;47;20 is one of the things I love about teaching Edu was they had a world server 00;01;47;27 - 00;01;50;17 so that you could go out and people would design worlds 00;01;50;17 - 00;01;53;19 and you grab that and download it and put it on your server. 00;01;53;19 - 00;01;55;10 So you had a pre-built world. Right. 00;01;55;10 - 00;01;57;03 My daughter had one of those where it was. 00;01;57;03 - 00;01;59;27 They had just started going into caves, going underground, and 00;02;00;13 - 00;02;03;26 that was just she got lost in that for a long time. 00;02;03;27 - 00;02;04;14 Yeah. 00;02;04;14 - 00;02;07;21 And so that so my and Microsoft continued that. 00;02;07;21 - 00;02;10;23 So you when you go in Minecraft, you there are these pre-built worlds 00;02;11;00 - 00;02;13;25 with pre-built challenges with pre-built stuff that you can 00;02;14;00 - 00;02;15;00 you just step in in 00;02;15;00 - 00;02;17;18 like you go up and talk to a person, that person gives you a job and duty 00;02;17;18 - 00;02;19;26 and like there's all this stuff that's already been pre-built. 00;02;20;07 - 00;02;22;13 And that's the cool part because on the back end 00;02;22;13 - 00;02;25;27 when you get to a certain level, you can submit your designs, right? 00;02;25;27 - 00;02;28;16 You know, and that was another really cool idea too. 00;02;28;17 - 00;02;32;16 So then how does how did the the how would e-sports in Minecraft work? 00;02;32;26 - 00;02;36;29 So again, like I said, it's kind of it blends in that you can come into this 00;02;36;29 - 00;02;38;08 because it's competitive. 00;02;38;08 - 00;02;40;28 I remember my daughter going, Dad, is this really an e-sport sport? 00;02;40;28 - 00;02;42;26 And I said, Yeah, because you're using technology 00;02;42;26 - 00;02;44;29 and you're competing with other school districts. 00;02;44;29 - 00;02;49;02 You know, like I said, right now, as far as I know, 00;02;49;02 - 00;02;52;19 no school in the United States has won one of these challenges. 00;02;52;19 - 00;02;54;15 It's all been schools outside of the United States 00;02;54;15 - 00;02;56;13 because this is an international challenge. 00;02;56;13 - 00;02;59;24 You know, farm craft, I believe when I came here, 00;02;59;24 - 00;03;01;22 there was a school, I almost think it was Cambodia, 00;03;01;22 - 00;03;03;25 like there was a school in Cambodia that won last year. 00;03;03;26 - 00;03;06;11 Like, it's not just us. 00;03;06;11 - 00;03;10;01 We're competing against everybody in the world against these challenges. 00;03;10;07 - 00;03;11;20 And it's kind of cool challenges. 00;03;11;20 - 00;03;13;00 You know, like when you look at the farm craft, 00;03;13;00 - 00;03;15;29 you have to build an is biome that is randomly given to you 00;03;15;29 - 00;03;16;17 and then you get figure out 00;03;16;17 - 00;03;19;09 what plants will survive in that biome, what pests, 00;03;19;09 - 00;03;21;09 because you have to keep the pest away from your plants 00;03;21;09 - 00;03;22;22 and then you have to harvest. 00;03;22;22 - 00;03;24;16 And how many bushels did you get? 00;03;24;16 - 00;03;26;01 You know, and that's really the challenge is 00;03;26;01 - 00;03;29;10 how to do that and learning while you're completing that challenge. 00;03;29;23 - 00;03;33;26 The other one of course, for me, stem side loving this is how do you make a 00;03;35;02 - 00;03;36;06 solar car? 00;03;36;06 - 00;03;38;17 You know, because you know there's a whole lot goes into 00;03;38;17 - 00;03;42;16 that is what your tires are made out of what your your wheels 00;03;42;25 - 00;03;46;10 you know because you want go light but you want to have some strength. 00;03;46;10 - 00;03;48;12 You know, what kind of bearings are you putting in there? 00;03;48;12 - 00;03;49;07 What kind of energy? 00;03;49;07 - 00;03;51;18 Because if you put the batteries in, then you're putting weight on there 00;03;51;18 - 00;03;54;08 and you like like thinking about all the different pieces, 00;03;54;08 - 00;03;56;16 the weight distribution and stuff that you have to do 00;03;56;21 - 00;03;58;28 to make your solar car to be the fastest one. 00;03;58;28 - 00;04;01;17 And really, when it comes down to the solar car competition, 00;04;01;18 - 00;04;03;26 the real one, isn't that what they're doing? Like 00;04;05;01 - 00;04;07;12 make a model that works for actually very Yeah, Yeah. 00;04;07;12 - 00;04;08;22 It's not virtual. Yeah. 00;04;08;22 - 00;04;10;01 So I think that's awesome 00;04;10;01 - 00;04;12;05 that our kids have that opportunity to go in there and do that. 00;04;12;25 - 00;04;14;05 Now that starts in the spring. 00;04;14;05 - 00;04;15;13 Is that what you said? Yeah. 00;04;15;13 - 00;04;17;27 So they have right now they're doing one 00;04;17;27 - 00;04;21;02 massive If you go look at Native they have firm craft right now 00;04;21;08 - 00;04;25;03 and this fall one is challenging the people who created firm craft. 00;04;25;14 - 00;04;28;15 They want you to go up against them and see if you can beat the creators. 00;04;28;25 - 00;04;31;16 And so it's it's kind of a great time to get in 00;04;31;16 - 00;04;32;29 because it's just kind of a fun challenge. 00;04;32;29 - 00;04;33;26 It's not the 00;04;33;26 - 00;04;35;14 the big one that'll be happening in the spring, 00;04;35;14 - 00;04;39;03 but it gives you a time to dip your toe in and say, Hey, are we interested in this? 00;04;39;03 - 00;04;40;27 Do we like to do this? 00;04;40;27 - 00;04;42;13 So I think that's a great way to get in. 00;04;42;13 - 00;04;44;07 And the thing is, like my daughters right now 00;04;44;07 - 00;04;46;18 who are playing it and the girls are playing with them, 00;04;47;02 - 00;04;48;15 they're just getting used to it, you know? 00;04;48;15 - 00;04;49;00 I mean, 00;04;49;00 - 00;04;51;11 and they do they kind of want to feel it out 00;04;51;11 - 00;04;53;25 so that they know what is the competition require? 00;04;53;26 - 00;04;55;28 Like how do we submit what? 00;04;55;28 - 00;04;58;20 When do we get the challenge? You know, how does this work? 00;04;58;20 - 00;05;03;15 And it kind of goes back into the robotics challenges that we've had where well, 00;05;03;15 - 00;05;07;09 and I think I'm glad to see that there are other 00;05;08;24 - 00;05;11;04 programs and games and challenges like Minecraft 00;05;11;04 - 00;05;14;00 that are starting to kind of be accepted because I know it was, you know, 00;05;14;00 - 00;05;16;11 everything has a stigma and you have to be really careful with it. 00;05;16;11 - 00;05;20;13 In E-Sports is no different, and it was pretty toxic 00;05;20;13 - 00;05;23;23 in the beginning with it was just Fortnite and Overwatch 00;05;23;23 - 00;05;26;15 and there was more trash talk than there was game play. 00;05;26;15 - 00;05;31;09 And it was it was pretty frustrating for I know a lot of kids that 00;05;31;09 - 00;05;34;01 just that's just not who they are. That's not how they are. 00;05;34;01 - 00;05;36;00 You know, they may they may be really good at it 00;05;36;00 - 00;05;37;08 and they may be able to just come in 00;05;37;08 - 00;05;41;07 and, you know, wipe the board clean, but they don't want that part of it. 00;05;41;12 - 00;05;41;28 You know, 00;05;41;28 - 00;05;44;23 they're not interested in the trash talk because it's just that's just not 00;05;44;23 - 00;05;45;25 what they do. Right. 00;05;46;29 - 00;05;48;12 And it's nice to see that 00;05;48;12 - 00;05;50;10 that has kind of been minimized a little bit, 00;05;50;10 - 00;05;52;04 even though there's still some of it out there. 00;05;52;04 - 00;05;56;09 But then there's just some of these games that it's it's 00;05;56;09 - 00;06;00;13 just not baked into the game to to to do that kind of stuff 00;06;00;13 - 00;06;03;23 where it just doesn't make any sense to trash talk. 00;06;04;01 - 00;06;05;23 You're farm, right. 00;06;05;23 - 00;06;08;09 You know I mean versus like, you know, you go into Overwatch 00;06;08;09 - 00;06;10;27 or go into Fortnite and that's all a part of it, right? 00;06;10;29 - 00;06;11;28 You know, Right. 00;06;11;28 - 00;06;14;08 I will eat your soul, those kinds of things. 00;06;14;08 - 00;06;19;03 And, you know, from MOSEF’s standpoint, we really have put a squash on that, 00;06;19;03 - 00;06;22;05 you know, And the thing is, we were talking about that 00;06;22;09 - 00;06;26;08 at the conference this year about it's hard for us to know 00;06;26;22 - 00;06;28;17 what is the latest trash talk. 00;06;28;17 - 00;06;30;29 You know, I mean, yeah, I said it was so interesting 00;06;30;29 - 00;06;35;01 because I had this this experience where we were really beating another team 00;06;35;16 - 00;06;39;19 and and this was in Valorant and one of the the students was literally 00;06;39;19 - 00;06;43;23 going to the other person's respawn and tagging the other person's respawn. 00;06;43;28 - 00;06;44;10 Well, 00;06;45;12 - 00;06;47;11 that was kind of a form of trash talking 00;06;47;11 - 00;06;49;23 because what they were literally saying is we're so much better than you. 00;06;49;23 - 00;06;52;26 We can only put four players going towards the end. 00;06;52;26 - 00;06;54;28 The other person's going to go because when 00;06;54;28 - 00;06;57;20 you go back, you're going to see that we tagged your whole respawn 00;06;58;01 - 00;07;01;14 and we had to tell the player, you know, that's not appropriate, let's not do that. 00;07;01;14 - 00;07;05;03 And like but again, not having a clue that we knew that that was going on 00;07;05;08 - 00;07;09;16 or like one of the teachers that was there said, Yeah, or like you put up a tag 00;07;09;16 - 00;07;11;10 and then somebody put the tag over the top of your tag, 00;07;11;10 - 00;07;14;18 you know, that is kind of another form of trash talking. 00;07;14;25 - 00;07;17;16 And so, like, we're not able to keep up with what they're doing, 00;07;17;17 - 00;07;20;01 you know what I mean? They're going to find ways that that way. 00;07;20;02 - 00;07;23;01 Everybody knows that when you did that thing, that was a 00;07;23;07 - 00;07;26;10 that was a trash talk, you know, And usually kids will tell us, you know, 00;07;26;10 - 00;07;29;07 you see what you just did or like, Yeah, I just thought that was a move. 00;07;29;07 - 00;07;33;19 No, that was a yeah, he was he was just yeah, he's dissing me, you know. 00;07;33;19 - 00;07;35;20 And so I think that will you'll always have to. Yeah. 00;07;35;22 - 00;07;37;04 And it was funny we were talking 00;07;37;04 - 00;07;40;00 know some people in our coaches who have come into the field 00;07;40;00 - 00;07;42;09 and they're like, have you ever been at a basketball game? 00;07;42;09 - 00;07;44;08 Have you ever been at a football game? 00;07;44;08 - 00;07;48;14 You know, you're it's not mic’ed up, but there's a lot of trash talking 00;07;48;14 - 00;07;50;02 that goes on. That's just a part of sports. 00;07;50;02 - 00;07;53;22 You know, we probably don't want to do it because our art is more visual. 00;07;53;22 - 00;07;56;16 Like, you can literally see everybody's watching 00;07;56;16 - 00;07;58;04 and they can see that where you're not going to hear that 00;07;58;04 - 00;08;00;03 trash talking that's happening on the football field 00;08;00;03 - 00;08;02;09 or on the basketball court or in volleyball, like 00;08;02;19 - 00;08;04;27 there's all that going on. But it is a part of sports. 00;08;04;27 - 00;08;08;21 We kind of if you're really into it, you're in adrenaline's going to be going 00;08;08;21 - 00;08;11;29 and, you know, and then we wouldn't have that was a static moments too. 00;08;11;29 - 00;08;14;15 When we win and we jump up and we're dancing all around the room 00;08;14;15 - 00;08;17;18 because we just beat somebody virtually something, you know? 00;08;18;17 - 00;08;20;02 Yeah, it is a 00;08;20;02 - 00;08;23;22 it's a big mental game is what we're really doing, you know, 00;08;24;13 - 00;08;27;06 And I think that's what a lot of people don't understand 00;08;27;17 - 00;08;30;08 because you see interviews and I thought it was funny. 00;08;30;08 - 00;08;33;17 Somebody was showing us that Saturday Night Live skit where, you know, 00;08;33;17 - 00;08;36;19 after the words, they're they're, you know, interviewing the person. 00;08;36;27 - 00;08;41;08 And I love that blank stare that they gave because literally 00;08;41;08 - 00;08;45;17 when you just have sat for 45 minutes or 2 hours, 00;08;46;13 - 00;08;50;10 you are mentally just the melted, You know what I mean? 00;08;50;10 - 00;08;52;07 And they go, what did you do and how did you do it? 00;08;52;07 - 00;08;57;10 And you're like, I am just trying to put, you know, I can't even put words together 00;08;57;10 - 00;09;00;15 because I am so mentally drained from what I just did. 00;09;00;15 - 00;09;04;00 Well, and there is, you know, and listening to my son, who plays 00;09;04;06 - 00;09;08;07 different games, there is 00;09;08;09 - 00;09;11;12 there are definitely like there techniques that one player will use 00;09;11;12 - 00;09;14;17 against another player, one player type will use against another player type. 00;09;15;05 - 00;09;19;19 And a lot of those, you know, like, you know, if you were playing football, 00;09;19;19 - 00;09;23;06 you would be in different defensive sets and you know, maybe 00;09;23;06 - 00;09;25;27 you go man on this guy, but on this guy, you're going to play his own 00;09;26;10 - 00;09;29;23 and that exact same world exists 00;09;30;02 - 00;09;33;11 virtually in a lot of the more advanced games. 00;09;33;18 - 00;09;36;17 Absolutely. But it's what you're asking 00;09;37;20 - 00;09;38;17 is you're 00;09;38;17 - 00;09;42;13 asking a football player to describe in detail 00;09;42;24 - 00;09;46;17 one play that happened halfway through the second quarter 00;09;47;23 - 00;09;49;25 and they'd already been hit several times. 00;09;49;25 - 00;09;51;28 So things are getting fuzzy. Right. So what do you I don't know, but it works. 00;10;02;20 - 00;10;03;27 You know, it's a gut. 00;10;03;27 - 00;10;04;15 Like what 00;10;04;15 - 00;10;06;08 some of the science is telling us is that these guys 00;10;06;08 - 00;10;09;07 have these gut natural instincts, that they just know what to do. 00;10;09;07 - 00;10;11;02 They know the buttons to push at the right time 00;10;11;02 - 00;10;15;13 because their brain is computing all this information so fast 00;10;15;14 - 00;10;19;01 that they just instinctively are reacting to what's going on in the game. 00;10;19;11 - 00;10;22;07 And like what you said, because like you said, more advanced games 00;10;23;07 - 00;10;24;06 coaches will tell you 00;10;24;06 - 00;10;26;19 half the battle is over before we start the game. 00;10;27;05 - 00;10;30;20 Like because that picking process, like when you're picking the two teams 00;10;30;20 - 00;10;34;19 and the two makeups of the teams, that's that's their strap. 00;10;34;22 - 00;10;35;11 That's the strategy. 00;10;35;11 - 00;10;39;15 It really, like it really does come down to that football team set up this way. 00;10;39;15 - 00;10;41;20 The offense is this way, the defense is set up this way. 00;10;41;26 - 00;10;45;19 And we're looking for the weakness now that we know that these two, 00;10;45;19 - 00;10;46;16 how they work together. 00;10;46;16 - 00;10;49;02 But we're looking for that one weakness and maybe that one player 00;10;49;02 - 00;10;53;03 who can really shine in that moment with this makeup. 00;10;53;12 - 00;10;56;26 And that's really what overall watch League of Legends comes down 00;10;56;26 - 00;11;00;03 to when you're doing all that drafting and going through 00;11;00;03 - 00;11;04;19 and picking out who's going to be playing against the other player, because you can 00;11;04;25 - 00;11;08;10 do, you know, again, going back to the randomization and everything, 00;11;09;00 - 00;11;11;09 no two matches are ever the same. Right? Right. 00;11;11;09 - 00;11;12;27 You know, no two matches are the same. 00;11;12;27 - 00;11;14;13 You get there a second later 00;11;14;13 - 00;11;17;29 or 2 seconds earlier and it just changes the whole dynamics of the game. 00;11;18;09 - 00;11;21;04 And so it's that randomness 00;11;21;04 - 00;11;24;20 that draws us to this and we want to see how well is this person going to compete. 00;11;24;21 - 00;11;27;16 But, you know, I mean, watching sports, I 00;11;27;21 - 00;11;30;20 very much can see the gameplay where, 00;11;31;09 - 00;11;34;03 you know, relating until like a basketball game where, 00;11;34;03 - 00;11;38;13 you know, okay, so you're under matched as far as size is concerned. 00;11;38;13 - 00;11;42;03 So you're going to use speed to your advantage and shoot from the outside more. 00;11;43;00 - 00;11;45;23 You've got a kid that's bigger, but he’s slower, 00;11;45;23 - 00;11;49;00 but you're going to need a body later, so you're going to throw them in 00;11;49;00 - 00;11;51;03 in the third quarter when everybody's tired and let him 00;11;51;03 - 00;11;55;11 get in there and bang on them, you know, And that's it's the same thing. 00;11;55;11 - 00;11;58;20 It's just done with creatures and critters 00;11;59;06 - 00;12;03;22 and it just takes a long time to learn them and what their strengths are. 00;12;03;22 - 00;12;06;29 And it goes all the way back to the D & D days and building 00;12;06;29 - 00;12;10;05 your character sheets, you know, And I want this guy to be stronger. 00;12;10;05 - 00;12;11;08 I want this guy to be smarter. 00;12;11;08 - 00;12;14;15 I want this guy to have more magical abilities and things. 00;12;14;15 - 00;12;15;27 And it's the exact same thing, 00;12;16;26 - 00;12;19;18 only it's happening 00;12;19;18 - 00;12;22;09 right in front of my 50 year old brain. 00;12;22;29 - 00;12;25;23 And it's it's a lot of flashy lights and things blowing up. 00;12;25;23 - 00;12;28;00 And then somebody says, You win or you lose either. 00;12;28;00 - 00;12;30;15 So I can not follow that part of it. 00;12;31;11 - 00;12;34;09 I could probably place the kids where I wanted them as a coach, 00;12;35;05 - 00;12;38;22 but I think that's where we have to rely on their ability, 00;12;38;22 - 00;12;42;22 just like we have to put this wide receiver against that D back 00;12;42;22 - 00;12;47;03 because we know that D-backs fast, but this kid's six inches taller, right? 00;12;47;05 - 00;12;51;12 And that's going to make a combination, you know, And so there's I think 00;12;51;12 - 00;12;54;01 from the standpoint of a of a coach, 00;12;54;17 - 00;12;57;11 there is a skill that doesn't 00;12;57;11 - 00;13;02;09 involve mashing the buttons right and understanding. 00;13;02;09 - 00;13;05;03 So you have to understand the player dynamics. 00;13;05;03 - 00;13;10;10 You have to understand how a player is made and what skills that player has. 00;13;10;10 - 00;13;12;20 But it's still going to be up to team captains 00;13;13;17 - 00;13;16;23 to spread their players out in the right format, in right order, 00;13;17;05 - 00;13;21;29 and the coaches are going to be helping, you know, they're going to be the DMS, 00;13;21;29 - 00;13;24;05 they're going to be the ones helping you pick up your players. Right. 00;13;24;07 - 00;13;24;27 And doing that. 00;13;24;27 - 00;13;27;14 So I remember Corey Lovelace really 00;13;27;14 - 00;13;30;08 early on when we first started this, Oh, this is going to be so easy. 00;13;30;10 - 00;13;32;16 We just look and see how they're ranked 00;13;32;16 - 00;13;34;19 because, you know, they have a global ranking. 00;13;34;19 - 00;13;37;23 So we'll pull the platinum players, the gold players. 00;13;37;23 - 00;13;38;26 You know, the Silver Lake 00;13;38;26 - 00;13;40;25 will already have them all ranked, you know, 00;13;40;25 - 00;13;42;25 and so we'll know who to put in the team makeup. 00;13;43;01 - 00;13;46;11 And I remember Corey quickly telling me that is not how this works, 00;13;46;22 - 00;13;50;13 because you can have a platinum player, but they don't know how to call 00;13;50;22 - 00;13;53;11 or you got platinum player that doesn't know how to combination 00;13;53;11 - 00;13;54;25 with the other four players. 00;13;54;25 - 00;13;56;22 Like they're really good on a 1 to 1. 00;13;56;22 - 00;13;59;28 But when you put them in that team combo, they're not ready to play 00;13;59;28 - 00;14;00;24 in that team combo. 00;14;00;24 - 00;14;04;14 And so it is watching them play together and figuring out 00;14;04;15 - 00;14;07;19 who can be the shot caller who who has the strategy. 00;14;07;23 - 00;14;11;21 They may not be the best player in the game, but they're they can see what 00;14;11;21 - 00;14;15;17 the other team is doing and the makeup and who is playing what character. 00;14;15;22 - 00;14;19;04 And they spend that time at home watching that other team play. 00;14;19;04 - 00;14;21;04 It's like watching footage. I tell people all the time. 00;14;21;04 - 00;14;25;02 I feel like I am playing football because I'm used to watching the team 00;14;25;02 - 00;14;25;25 footage of the other team. 00;14;25;25 - 00;14;29;03 We know who's strong and what place, and you literally watch the other match 00;14;29;03 - 00;14;33;03 and see how they handle different combos and different makeup of the team. 00;14;33;08 - 00;14;35;11 And then you set to try to offset that. 00;14;35;17 - 00;14;40;07 And that student who takes over that role is doing it live, right? 00;14;40;07 - 00;14;40;11 You know, 00;14;40;11 - 00;14;44;22 I mean, like in the moment and in the moment that student may realize, hey, 00;14;44;22 - 00;14;47;24 they knew they were weak in this point and they have stepped it up. 00;14;48;05 - 00;14;51;01 And so now that strategy that we had is not working. 00;14;51;01 - 00;14;54;06 And I've got a sidestep and I've got to figure out how to go around that. 00;14;54;06 - 00;14;56;00 That's all very much like regular sports. 00;14;56;00 - 00;14;58;11 It's just like, you know, you're going to make your adjustments at halftime. 00;14;59;01 - 00;15;00;02 You see what they do. 00;15;00;02 - 00;15;03;28 You have to, you know, make adjustments to see if you can counter 00;15;03;28 - 00;15;05;07 what you think they're doing now. 00;15;05;07 - 00;15;06;29 But they may change again. 00;15;08;24 - 00;15;10;18 And it’s it’s almost like a chess game that's going back and forth, too, 00;15;10;18 - 00;15;12;19 you know, And we've always said that football is the same way. 00;15;12;19 - 00;15;14;14 Like it's not just a bunch of guys on the field. 00;15;14;14 - 00;15;17;16 Grunting and pushing against each other is a lot of strategy that's going on. 00;15;17;16 - 00;15;22;05 And so it's that's why I consider it a sport, is that there are a lot 00;15;22;05 - 00;15;24;24 going on there and the physical drain on these kids, you know, 00;15;25;27 - 00;15;28;03 like we tell them they have to be physically exercise 00;15;28;03 - 00;15;31;06 like before a match will like do a little run jog. 00;15;31;06 - 00;15;32;13 You got to get your heart rate going up. 00;15;32;13 - 00;15;34;12 You got to get ready to go. 00;15;34;12 - 00;15;36;05 I think a lot of people are like, oh, what are they going to do? 00;15;36;05 - 00;15;36;21 Hurt their wrist? 00;15;36;21 - 00;15;39;04 Well... literally, They can hurt their wrist. 00;15;39;04 - 00;15;40;20 Well, we've got kids that, like, 00;15;40;20 - 00;15;42;17 you know, are coming in and they're like, hey, I'm having trouble. 00;15;42;17 - 00;15;44;09 I was like, Hey, you need to do some exercise. 00;15;44;09 - 00;15;47;10 Like we have exercises that we do because you can hurt yourself doing this. 00;15;47;10 - 00;15;48;10 And it sounds like really fun. 00;15;48;10 - 00;15;51;00 You're like, Oh, but yeah, you don't want it. 00;15;51;00 - 00;15;52;06 You're like proper prostrate. 00;15;52;06 - 00;15;54;14 We were talking with our students about, you know, 00;15;54;14 - 00;15;56;13 just sitting properly in the chair and everything. 00;15;56;13 - 00;15;59;11 And I know it sounds weird, but you can prove your, 00;15;59;21 - 00;16;01;20 your game improves you the way you're doing 00;16;01;20 - 00;16;04;21 and you're really looking at the dynamic of what your body is doing 00;16;04;21 - 00;16;05;19 while you're doing this 00;16;05;19 - 00;16;09;11 and making everything conducive to make it reactive, you know, 00;16;10;06 - 00;16;12;18 so that there's so many aspects of these sports 00;16;12;18 - 00;16;14;24 that we're just starting to learn and find out about it. 00;16;14;25 - 00;16;16;06 And just so interesting.
